Five Nights of Fun!

Fourth Street Camp is a free camp for students entering 3rd–8th grade. Campers enjoy five evenings of fun as they explore their interests and learn that living hope is found in Jesus Christ alone.

Created by Immanuel Baptist Church, this free camp offers eight areas of interest that students can choose to explore throughout the week. Coaches will lead campers in basketball, creative writing, drama, hip-hop dance, illustration, soccer, or vocal performance, giving youth a chance to learn the fundamentals of their chosen activity.

Immanuel has partnered with their Fourth Street neighbors, Presentation Academy and Spalding University. The exceptional facilities generously provided by Presentation and Spalding will bring students a great experience.

Do you need transportation and live within three miles of 850 S. Fourth St.? We will do our best to provide transportation for your camper. If you have any questions, check out our FAQ page!

a note from immanuel’s children’s director

Welcome to Fourth Street Camp! I am the Children’s Director at Immanuel and mom of two 9th graders. I know it is important to know who your children will be with, so let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am a former JCPS 5th grade teacher and volunteer at Engelhard Elementary. When my children were younger, I wrote children’s books and visited local schools as an author. I presented reading workshops for educators and college students.

In my current role, I train our Sunday School teachers and camp leaders to teach with excellence and care. I oversee safety parameters for volunteers who interact with campers through an extensive application process. The process includes a background check, interview, a recommendation from a trusted source, and completion of child safety training. Our volunteers are kind, caring, and talented.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!
